Our Story
“I found something I loved to do, but felt miserable when it became my profession. That didn’t feel right to me. I knew there had to be a better way of working.
- Andrea, founder of Vibrament

The Backstory
Before creating Vibrament, Andrea was attending graduate school for product design, a field that fulfilled a childhood dream, and quickly became a passion. Despite this being “the field of her dreams,” she quickly encountered some of realities of modern work - long work weeks that bled into personal time, and extensive sitting for hours on end. She found herself developing chronic back pain, and felt the quality of her work declining, both from a significant drop in physical health, as well as from the sheer volume of workload. She wanted to find a better approach to work.
“I didn’t think I should have to sacrifice my physical health in order to have a successful career, yet that was what I saw as the norm.”
With no immediate answers around her, Andrea first began to look for answers in the field of physical fitness, where she became a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist. She focused on the common ramifications of a sedentary lifestyle and how those could be addressed through movement. Realizing the scope was much larger, she then extended her research into the fields of productivity, behavioral science, and creativity to develop a holistic and systematic approach to work, which can be found in Vibrament.
“I wanted workplace wellness to exist in ways that I had only dreamed of, and if no one else would do it, I decided I would.”
Vibrament was founded on the belief that there is a better way of working, a way that feels energizing rather than depleting. Vibrament's methods integrate core traits of being human - movement, play, creativity, and learning - to help people work better.
